Children's Medical Barnyard

The Mission: Children's Medical Center was in the middle of their re-brand into Children's Health, they wanted to debut their new "not just for emergencies" messaging at the State Fair of Texas. More specifically, within the zoo area.
The Challenge: Our mission was to communicate child-friendly facts about everyday health in a way that somehow included an animal theme. So, not only did the messaging have to be big, bold and brief, it had to fight for attention among herds of adorable baby animals.
This is one of my favorite projects because I really got to utilize my flair for crafting. Using the Children's red balloon for inspiration, I began crafting various balloon animals based on the animals that would be featured in the Children's Barnyard. I drew, cut and pieced together these animal patients and doctors making sure to keep them grounded in a similar design style.
